Valerie Horvath is a Seattle-based photographer who delights in chasing the unexpected and uncovering beauty in everyday moments. Her first roll of film — shot at age five on a hand-me-down Kodak Brownie — wasn't exactly portfolio-worthy (a few accidental finger close-ups made the cut), but it sparked a lifelong passion. Years later, she returned to photography with a digital camera and a far better sense of finger placement. Today, Valerie's work is driven by the same joy, with a focus on images that not only tell a story but also evoke emotion.
